There's work and play. There are parents and two kids. There are chores and sleep. Amidst all of that, there's trying to save the planet.

Gardening: Flowers from Seed
A couple weeks ago, Thora and I planted a small flower garden from seeds. Close to the wooden fence below our deck, we planted morning glories. And then in the middle, we planted nasturiums.
Thora did a great job helping. And at one point during our gardening, Thora was a great help as she jiggled Auric's stroller until he fell asleep. She was sooo proud of herself. A few minutes after he fell asleep, she made about a half dozen trips inside to get more blankets to pile on Auric, despite the warm, 75-degree day.
More pictures to come as these additions to the garden begin showing themselves.
Elsewhere in the garden, we had this gem for awhile, one of two flowering peonies.
And we never fail to walk passed our vegetable garden without checking the progress of our plants. Here Thora shows off the ripening cherry tomatoes.
